Pagiiii ... selamat pagi semuanya ! 

Jumpa lagi , dengan irma disini , ya disini ... *dibaca dengan nada lagu maisy hehehe

Maksud hati mau bangun siang karena hari ini anakku liburr ,, horeee ,,

Tapi ternyata gk bisa tetap aja matanya kesetel bangun pagi , udah berubah jadi mata ayam kayanya yaaa .

Ada salah satu group di facebook khusus mewadahi crafter se - Indonesia 

namanya " INDONESIAN CRAFTER " . Di group itu ada yang namanya Crafty Days jadi dari hari senin - minggu ada nama-namanya :

• Senin Rekomendasi + Tanya jawab
• Selasa Peduli
• Rabu Serbu
• Kamis Manis
• Jumat Hangat
• Sabtu Seru
• Pasar Minggu

Berhubung hari ini hari kamis dan hari kamis itu harinya para crafter boleh narsis - narsis-an memajang hasil karya terbarunya. Saya sepertinya mau ikutan hari ini acchh pajang karya handmade terbaru .
Handmade terbarunya saya kasih nama TOPI MINI SALLY , kenapa pake nama Sally ? karena menurut saya bunyinya berirama dengan 2 kata didepannya.

Berawal dari melihat lihat sepertinya topi - topi mini banyak sekali dijual di online shop craft ya .

Dan banyak juga para crafter yang mengkreasikan topi mini ini , termasuk anakku juga pernah minta dibelikan jepit rambut topi mini.

Jadi penasaran pengen juga kreasikan topi mini ... akhirnya beli juga topi mini nya di salah satu olshop *kepo banget yaa . Begitu paketnya sampai langsung saja di eksekusi topi mininya !

Seperti biasa .. bagi saya tidak lengkap sepertinya kalau bikin handmade tanpa hiasan bunga hihihiii , soalnya saya suka banget pakai bunga . Jadi terlihat manis dan feminim sekali .. maklum inspirasinya juga selalu bertema flower shabby chic .

Belakangan ini saya lebih sering membuat handmade berupa bros , aplikasi , kenapa ? mau tau alasannya ?

karena " CEPAT JADI ". Lagi mengalami kebosanan tingkat tinggi dengan yang membutuhkan jahit menjahit.

Mau bikin dompet , pouch , dan tas. Pola - polanya sudah jadi , kain sudah digunting , tapi masih nangkring di atas meja jahit tuhh hehehehee *sabar ya kain-kain

Yup tinggal dirangkai bunga - bunganya tempel sana - sini pake glue gun ... VOILAAA :

Speaking of  INDONESIAN CRAFTER , saya merasa senang sekali bisa gabung di group tersebut .

Walaupun saya jarang comment di setiap post group , tetapi saya menyimak looohh ^_^

Senang rasanya bisa tau bahwa crafter banyak sekali tersebar di seluruh indonesia , bisa saling sharing.

Dan dengan adanya Crafty Days khusunya hari kamis bagi saya pribadi , menjadi dorongan semangat untuk selalu bisa membuat handmade setiap minggunya. 

Terus maju semangat untuk para INDONESIAN CRAFTER !!

LITTLE TWILL

Malammm ,,, hai hai selamat malam crafter blogers

Minggu malam gini enaknya ngapain ya ?? gak ada kerjaan , mendingan nge-blog aja deh

Udah masuk bulan juni , bulannya menjelang naik kelas , liburan , dan yang gak boleh kelewatan

eng ing enggg " JAKARTA GREAT SALE "

Tadi siang nge - mall disalah satu mall beken di jakarta 

isinya jejeran toko yang pada pasang stiker " Jakarta Great Sale 1 juni -14 juli "

eehh bikin ngiler aja ,, semua barang didiskon lumayan *tampar diri sendiri sadarrr irma

Isi dompet gk memadai apa boleh buat terpaksa window shopping aja

harap - harap cemas kali aja makin lama makin banyak diskonnya buat penghabisan stok 

ahhaahahh *pengharapan yang gk jelas ya booo

Yang bikin gak tahan adalah melihat di bagian peralatan rumah tangga dan disitu ada 

kaleng - kaleng vintage dengan harga yang lumayan murah setelah didiskon

*liat dompet isinya gocengan sama cebanan

*tangan gatel pengen gesek atm

tutup mata , jaga hati , kabboorrrrr 

Kejadian tadi siang membuat hati saya bergelora *halaaahh

saya harus lebih giat lagi mencari uang demi kaleng - kaleng vintage itu hehheee

Beberapa waktu lalu saya membuat sesuatu yang saya namakan LITTLE TWILL

as always ,,, bisa dijadikan bros , jepitan , ditempel di bando , sesuai kebutuhan deh pokoknya

Terbuat dari pita twill yang saya hias dengan aplikasi bunga

Something Sweet Made From Fabric Scrap

Selamat siang , selamat ber - weekend ria !
Wohhooo ,, setelah sekian lama akhirnya bisa nge-blog lagi ,
setelah menyelesaikan pesanan cupcake pincushion yang lumayan bikin keteteran .

Begitu lihat kamar jahit , stress seketika melanda
pengen pingsan duluan padahal belum juga bersih-bersih dimulai heheheee .
Entah kenapa kok kayanya saya susah banget ya untuk merapihkan barang-barang
ke tempatnya semula ?? *semoga bukan saya saja yang mengidap penyakit malas seperti ini

Padahal sudah dengan berbagai cara termasuk beli wadah-wadah lucu
alih - alih supaya semangat balikin ke tempatnya semula *tetap ya gak ngaruh juga
Dari kemarin saya lagi bersih - bersih kamar jahit ,
dan problem yang paling utama yaitu banyaknya potongan kain sisa.
Dibuang sayang tapi kalau ditumpuk juga lama - lama menuh-menuhin kamar aja !?

Jadi solusinya harus dibikin jadi sesuatu kain sisa ini.
Sapu dan kemoceng nya ditaruh dulu ya ,, dan akhirnya beres-beresnya ditunda
karena saya dapat ide sederhana untuk menjadikan sisa kain ini menjadi sesuatu produk
dan akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk menjahitnya menjadi bros saja.

Sempat terpikir mau dijahit patchwork ,, tapiii nanti jadinya lama dan beres-beresnya
gak akan selesai hehehee . Gunting sana sini  , jahit sana sini , tempel sana sini ,, dan akhirnya
jadilah bros " PEACE SCRAP BROOCH " ^_^

I was feature on Tabloid GENIE

Good evening friends

Back ,, back ,, back again having me " BLOG " time . After dropped some packages at JNE and took care of my daughter after she got back from school and hereee i am .. sit in front of computer , relax , try to enjoying this HOT night . Yeah of course this HOT thing directly into the sun which is seems like angry to all of kind things of pollution that we (people) caused.

Past few days i got one package that i didnt know who is the sender until i saw on the corner the envelope written Tabloid GENIE , and i kept wondering what is inside the package. When I opened and there is one Tabloid GENIE and suddenly i got flashback my memory .. so on Wednesday 20 March 2013

which is last month , i was interviewed by one of talented reporter of Tabloid GENIE named Rahmi Agusrinawati. 

We've been friend on facebook and she inbox me to arranged about the interview. Finnaly on that date she came to my house with her friend named Hadi the photographer . And i was so super duper excited about me being interviewed for the first time in my life ,,, LOL i guess i was so nervous.

Mba Rahmi , i called her .. she is nice person and easy going. For almost 1 hour we were talked about how i first started this bussines (Mrs. Irma's Sewcraft ) , what do i make , how to i sell , what is my goal for the future of my bussines , and so on.

Until the time to took some photos of my products and Mas Hadi ready to captured with his best angle. And also i was contributed tutorial step by step making my Cupcake Pincushion. Click ,, click ,, click ,, and done.

 Around 3pm they both went back to their office and i was so thankfull with them for trusted me as creativity guest in Tabloid GENIE. 

Back to the present time ,, and now i couldn't stop staring this tabloid because i was feature on it . Thank you GOD for your blessing , and may GOD open some doors for me to expand my bussines into something bigger,Amin.

Shabby Pastel Cupcake Pincushion

Night friends .. im back ready to blogging again !!

Huffttt .. finnaly i can have me time after taught my daughter math subject which is not my favorite one , but as a parents i need to be there to give her a lesson as much as i can.

Sit in front of my computer plus having elle and vire yoghurt mixed berries as mood booster , now im ready to sharing my handmade.

 

One week ago i did one project yupp like the title above " Shabby Pastel Cupcake Pincushion "

I made the former cupcake pincushion with polkadot motif on the top and flower motif for the bottom

And now since i was sooo crazy in love with shabby vintage style .. i applied my crazyness on my cupcake pincushion LOL : D

Using shabby flower fabrics and some embelishment and voila ... the" Shabby Pastel Cupcake Pincushion " is done . Freshly baked by me , here are some pictures :

Re-make of YOYO NECKLACE

Pagi ! selamat hari jumat menjelang weekend ..wohooo

Kali ini judulnya re-make of YOYO NECKLACE , dahulu kala jamannya account facebook saya yang pertama kali di buat saya jual kalung ini tapi sayangnya account-nya di hacked manusia tidak punya otak.

Bentuk yoyo itu menurut saya bentuk yang fleksibel bisa di bentuk bermacam-macam gaya ,

saya gak pernah bosan jahit yoyo ^_^

Yoyo Necklace 2.0 yang sekarang ini tidak terlalu beda dengan yang terdahulu 

bedanya yang 2.0 ini pakai half pearl di tengah yoyo-nya

susunan dan lainnya masih sama seperti yang dulu.

Masih mengkombinasikan kain katun dan pita twill , warna - warna yang aku pilih ada 7 warna yaitu :

Vintage Metric Pearly

Selamat sore menjelang malam ,, sambil nungguin suami pulang dan nemenin anakku lagi nonton TV , nge -blog aja kali ya enaknya , mumpung sekalian lagi nongkrongin laptop habis rekapin order customer juga.

Cuaca yang galau sebentar hujan lebat sebentar lagi panas mentereng bikin saya pun jatuh sakit , penyakit langganan batuk dan pilek . Apa daya udah gak mempan pake obat warung dan jadilah saya berobat !

Hmm ,,, kali ini mau cerita ceriti hasil handmade saya yaitu " VINTAGE METRIC PEARLY " 

ini sebenarnya udah lama dibikin tapi baru bisa nge post di blog.

Waktu itu lagi suka bikin yang model kaya begini ,, begini yang dimaksud yaitu bikin buat gantungan kunci.

Yang pertama saya buat buat handphone / usb strap nah kali ini bikin untuk gantungan kunci .

Bahan-bahan yang dipakai cukup sederhana aja .. pakai pita twill yang bermotif meteran / penggaris , rantai mutiara , gantungan kunci , renda gait , dan vintage cameo . Jahit sana sini akhirnya jadi deh seperti foto dibawah ini :

Nah itu dia hasilnya ,,, simple but gorgeous ( narsis dikit boleh dong :)) )

I'm Irma the Sewcraft Explorer - Singapore #part 2

Yipppiee yyeee ,,, im trully sorry for being sooo late posted part 2 as i promised to you guys :(  

I have been worked out some cupcake pincushion orders.

Now today i have plenty time to typing and ready to share the journey

Hmmm ,, lets begin with TYPO , it is one of store which is caught me up when in singapore. TYPO is a place where you can buy stationery stuff (journal , notebook , planner , pencil , pen , bag , card , home , wall hanging etc). You can find TYPO in Wisma Atria Singapore .

I didn't took a picture of it because i was overwhelmed with the goods and also crowded inside.

Next place is SPOTLIGHT , this is the superstore of sewing and craft also home appliances . I always come to SPOTLIGHT when in singapore . I call it heaven for everyone who loves crafting hahahaaaa ... i mean it guys , this place is so complete everything about sewing and craft you can find it here especially american brands. SPOTLIGHT located in Plaza Singapore just headed to the 5th floor .

Next is , who doesnt know DAISO ?? I bet everybody know what DAISO is ,, it is japan store with one price.

I never missed shop in daiso heheheee ,, the price is cheap ( in singapore the price it's only 2dollars) but they offering stuff with good quality. I bought some shabby cloth fabric and wooden boxes :

 

Still 2 more places i will share with you guys . The first one is CAT SOCRATES , i find out this store from facebook accidently .. yeah i dont even know that singapore has a store like this .. guess im so lucky :)

So i did researched where is the address CAT SOCRATES located ( i got it from their blog) .

CAT SOCRATES located in Bras Basah Complex , i thought that i was lost because when we arrived at Bras Basah Complex its just not what we expected i mean the store in there mostly selling books ( school books ). But we finnaly found CAT SOCRATES .. ooh and the store is so kawaiii .. they are selling cute stuff like notebooks , stamps , bag , home decor , linen fabrics , etc.

 And the last one store is BEADSPIN , this one also accidently found out. Me , my husband , and my daughter are planned to go to IKEA the furniture superstore in Tampines . When we arrived at tampines MRT station i was looking around and found this store ... how lucky i am :))
When i got in the store ooohh my god ,, it's full of beads , jewellry findings , resin , all beading stuff .
Yippiieee i was so happy ... finnaly i found the store which is sell jewellry findings . I've been looking this kind of store !! yeah and lucky me i got 20% discount for any purchse above 100dollars .

 Fiuhh ,, and that's the end of my journey as sewcraft explorer in Singapore . I try my best to descibed it clearly and im sorry if my english so bad (im workin on it). I hope it can help you guys when you are planning to go to singapore and wanna visit the sewing and craft store in there.
Just so you know there's a lot of sewing and craft store in singapore and i have'nt try it myself .. i have the list of it and im going to explore it next time.
